patchwork panel skirt


Think I’ll make a patchwork skirt.
Cutting takes forever. Too time-consuming. Faux vintage patchwork is definitely the go.

Find a doilie in my special stash tin where I put some flowers I cut from the pink floral.
Fold it into a pocket on top of the sage fabric and decide that it must become something with the pretty sage fabric.


Hmm…the geometric is too blue-green.


Much better.

Really wanted to make a baby dress, but didn’t have enough of selected fabrics to do what I wanted.

Decide on a flarey panel skirt! Almost patchwork but nowhere near as time-consuming!


Have dramas with this panel of written-on fabric that I never noticed until it was sewn into the skirt.
After much thought, decide on heart appliques to cover the writing.
