Stayed up late last night, cutting patterns

It’s such valuable use of time. I’m not doing anything anyway. It’s quiet. i can think and plan. And cut.
And sew the next day with a child companion as there is not a lot of thought involved in the actual making of garments.

patchwork panel skirt

Think I’ll make a patchwork skirt.
Cutting takes forever. Too time-consuming. Faux vintage patchwork is definitely the go.
Find a doilie in my special stash tin where I put some flowers I cut from the pink floral.
Fold it into a pocket on top of the sage fabric and decide that it must become something with [...]
